Binance Unleashes AI Trading Platform with Agent OS

Binance has launched Agent OS, an AI trading platform that enables users to connect their artificial intelligence (AI) assistants directly to its trading engine. This move positions Binance as a major player in the race to integrate AI into cryptocurrency trading.

The platform allows users to grant permission for AI agents to access their accounts, analyze market data, and place trades without manual intervention. Agent OS supports popular AI applications such as Claude, Codex, ChatGPT, Cursor, and VS Code, which can connect to Binance's systems without storing API credentials locally.

Binance co-founder Changpeng Zhao has described cryptocurrency as the native currency for AI agents, emphasizing that this is an early step towards a broader platform for AI-powered financial applications. However, Li noted that users have control over what their agents can do and set boundaries around their access, protecting user funds from unauthorized activity.
