Binance Unveils Agent OS: A Platform for AI-Powered Trading
Binance has launched Agent OS, a platform that allows AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude to connect directly to users' trading accounts.
The new platform provides APIs, an 'Agentic Wallet,' and a payments layer called x402, allowing agents to read market data, check balances, run analysis, and place trades with permission.
Binance's VP of Product, Jeff Li, stated that developers have been stitching together data feeds, wallets, and trading rails from multiple places, which Agent OS aims to consolidate.
The platform has safety measures in place, including dollar limits on certain flows and the ability for users to spin up separate subaccounts for each agent.
Binance is not alone in this development, with other exchanges like Kraken, Coinbase, OKX, and Bitget also rolling out similar agent-friendly trading infrastructure.
