Binance Unveils Agent OS: AI-Powered Trading Platform Takes Center Stage
Binance has launched Agent OS, a platform that connects AI applications to its trading infrastructure. This means AI agents like Claude or ChatGPT can now read markets and place orders on behalf of users.
Agent OS uses the Model Context Protocol (MCP), an open standard for connecting AI models to external tools. The MCP server implementation gives agents three main capabilities: reading market data, consulting account information in read-only mode, and placing trading orders.
The user retains control over their account with Agent OS. They can assign an agent to a dedicated sub-account, configure its permissions, and revoke access at any time. Additionally, the agent cannot withdraw funds from the main account or send money to external addresses.
