Binance Unveils Agent OS for Developer Platform
Binance has launched Agent OS, a developer platform that connects compatible AI applications to its market data, trading functions, and on-chain capabilities. The platform brings together Binance APIs, the Binance Wallet Agentic Hub, Binance x402, and support for the Model Context Protocol.
The Model Context Protocol connects compatible AI applications and supported Binance tools, allowing agents to read market data, view balances, access trading functions, and move funds between wallets inside a dedicated sub-account. The platform resembles an app-store structure, where developers build agents, users grant access, and Binance sets the technical interface, permission scopes, and account boundaries.
Binance emphasizes that user takes all the risks when using AI-powered agents. According to Jeff Li, Binance's Vice President of Product, 'We really cannot see the reasoning of what the user's action is.' The company's role is to contain the agent's activity inside a separate Agentic sub-account.
