Binance Unveils Agent OS Framework for AI-Friendly Trading and Payments
Binance has introduced Agent OS, a framework designed to connect artificial-intelligence applications with digital-asset financial infrastructure. The system aims to provide structured and permissioned access to trading and payments services.
The framework targets the tool layer by giving AI applications a controlled interface for interacting with exchanges, instead of relying on unbounded browser automation. This distinction is crucial because an agent can be asked to discover markets, prepare actions, and submit transactions while permissions and confirmation rules remain part of the surrounding infrastructure.
Agent OS enforces controls such as account limits, transaction size, supported assets, execution frequency, and audit records to improve security and compliance. This means that even with automated actions, applications still need these safeguards in place.
