Binance Unveils Agent OS Platform for AI-Powered Trading
Binance has launched Agent OS, a platform that allows developers to connect AI applications and agents to its financial infrastructure. The platform uses Binance's existing tools and services, including APIs, wallets, and transaction verification, to enable AI-powered trading.
The platform currently supports connections with OpenAI's ChatGPT and Codex, Anthropic's Claude Code, and Cursor, allowing users to authorize agents to access market data, view account information, and execute trades. However, Binance is putting the responsibility for keeping agents in check on users, who must decide what permissions to grant and set limits on agent activity.
Binance has implemented a system of 'subaccounts' that can be assigned to AI agents, allowing users to configure specific activities such as spot or futures trading. Withdrawals from these subaccounts are blocked by default, creating a sandbox around an agent's activity.
