Binance Unveils Agent OS Platform for AI-Powered Trading
Binance has launched a developer platform called Agent OS that allows artificial intelligence agents to connect with its financial infrastructure and carry out trading activities on behalf of users. The platform provides a standardized access layer linking AI applications with Binance's trading systems, market data, wallets, payments, and on-chain services.
The new platform is designed for AI developers, fintech companies, and quantitative trading teams building applications that interact directly with financial accounts and markets. Users can authorize agents created through supported tools to access selected Binance functions, including retrieving market data, viewing account information, and executing trades.
However, users have control over which permissions an agent has, and trading activity remains subject to limits set by the user. The platform also allows for dedicated subaccounts, which can separate funds and trading activity between agents, reducing the amount of capital exposed if one automated strategy behaves unexpectedly.
