Binance Unveils AI Trading Assistant with No Cap on Losses
Binance has launched Binance Ai Pro, a beta program that allows users to trade cryptocurrency with AI-powered assistance. The service creates a separate virtual sub-account linked to an AI API key and lets an agent help execute trades and monitor assets within that account.
The AI API key does not have withdrawal or transfer permissions, preventing the agent from moving funds out of the user's main Binance balance. However, once users manually transfer money into the AI sub-account, the tool can work with that balance under the permissions chosen by the user.
Binance emphasizes that responsibility for trading decisions remains with the user, and notes that the product is a semi-automated trading co-pilot rather than a licensed adviser. The company has also implemented account separation as a guardrail against theft, but users should still be aware of potential losses from bad trades.
The service allows users to configure which actions the AI is allowed to take and later change those permissions in the account settings. Binance Ai Pro can help with spot and perpetual contract orders, margin borrowing, price analysis, and custom strategy execution.
