Binance Unveils Stock Options on Over 1,000 US-Listed Stocks
Binance has expanded its traditional finance (TradFi) offerings by launching a stock-options product that allows eligible users outside of the United States to trade call and put options on more than 1,000 U.S.-listed stocks and exchange-traded funds.
The service, which went live on September 1, 2026, operates through Nest Trading Limited, Binance's broker-dealer regulated by the Abu Dhabi Global Market. Orders are routed to Alpaca Securities LLC, a U.S.-registered, self-clearing broker-dealer and FINRA member responsible for execution, clearing, settlement, and custody.
The contracts are physically settled, meaning that if an option is exercised, the holder receives the underlying shares rather than a cash equivalent. Alpaca maintains custody of those securities.
Binance's expansion into TradFi has seen significant growth in trading volume for equity-linked perpetual contracts, which increased from $410.9 million in January to $342.9 billion in August - an increase of more than 800 times over seven months.
