Binance.US Bolsters Trust Infrastructure with Socure Partnership
Binance.US has partnered with Socure to enhance its trust infrastructure for crypto onboarding. The collaboration aims to strengthen identity verification, fraud prevention, and compliance for customer onboarding.
Socure now works with four of the five largest U.S. crypto exchanges, reflecting a broader maturation of the market as organizations invest in necessary infrastructure to support trustworthy users without friction while meeting rising expectations for security and regulatory compliance.
Binance.US will use Socure's identity verification capabilities, including document and selfie verification, liveness, watchlist screening, and fraud prevention. The RiskOS platform will provide a configurable decisioning layer that brings together identity, device, behavioral, phone, email, and fraud signals in a unified workflow.
The partnership marks the increasing importance of identity as a core operating layer rather than a one-time compliance checkpoint. Socure's CEO Johnny Ayers stated, 'Binance.US isn't buying a KYC vendor. We've partnered together to allow them to say yes faster than fraud can adapt in leveraging our trust infrastructure as a growth lever for their business.'
