Binance.US Seeks CFTC License for Prediction Market Venture
Binance.US is planning to join the growing prediction market space by seeking a license from the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), according to its CEO.
The company, separate from global exchange Binance Holdings Ltd., plans to apply for a designated contract market license next month, Chief Executive Officer Steven Gregory said during the Rare Evo conference in Las Vegas.
This move would allow Binance.US to create and operate its own prediction market, which would enable users to bet on various outcomes such as election results or sports events.
