Binance Warns Users About Surge in Phishing Attacks via Text Messages

Binance has issued a warning to its users about an increase in phishing attacks involving text messages disguised as account security alerts.

The exchange said it never asks customers to verify or secure accounts through text links, and that any such message should be treated with suspicion.

To protect themselves from these scams, Binance advises users to check suspicious communications through the Binance Verify tool before responding or entering any account information.

The exchange also recommends enabling its withdrawal address whitelist, which limits withdrawals to wallet addresses approved by the account holder.
