Binance's Bitcoin Reserves Hit Six-Month High Amid Market Uncertainty

Binance's Bitcoin reserves have reached a six-month high of approximately 667,500 BTC, according to CryptoQuant data. This represents an increase of nearly 51,500 BTC since April, when the balance stood at around 616,000 BTC.

The growth in Binance's reserve is not necessarily a sign that the exchange is selling more Bitcoin. Analysts point out that reserve growth can reflect various factors, including liquidity transfers between wallets and changes in custody arrangements.

A separate wallet-level data from Lookonchain shows that a Binance-linked wallet received 6,494.34685667 BTC across 45 deposits between July 19 and August 8. The coins were then transferred to an address tied to Binance's 2022 Proof of Reserves report.

The market attention is currently focused on the upcoming US CPI report, with traders appearing more concerned about macroeconomic data than exchange reserve figures.
