Binance's bStocks Hits $500M in Assets Under Management in Just 7 Weeks
Binance has reported significant traction for its bStocks product, which offers tokenized securities to users. In just seven weeks since launch on June 11, the platform has reached $500 million in assets under management.
The company claims that 41.5% of users who have utilized bStocks are entering traditional financial markets for the first time through this tokenized securities product. This is a key indicator that combining crypto and traditional products on one platform may influence how some crypto-native customers first encounter equities.
Binance's Head of Exchange & Trading, Shunyet Jan, stated: 'Tokenised stocks are opening the door to a new generation of investors.' He also noted that bStocks account for 58% of equity-linked volume on Binance outside U.S. market hours, indicating that users increasingly expect access on their own terms.
The product has expanded from five tokenized securities to over 46 listings covering US companies and exchange-traded funds. Users can convert between bStocks and the corresponding conventional securities around the clock.
