Binance's bStocks Overtakes Rival xStocks in Tokenized Stock Market
bStocks, the stock investment platform from Binance, has surpassed xStocks in assets under management (AUM), according to on-chain data from Dune Analytics. As of the latest reporting period, bStocks held approximately $599 million in AUM, compared to roughly $589 million for xStocks.
This milestone marks a significant shift in the competitive landscape for tokenized stock offerings. bStocks has been steadily gaining traction since its launch, allowing Binance users to purchase fractionalized shares of major companies like Tesla and Apple through tokenized representations.
The growth of bStocks signals increasing demand for on-chain exposure to traditional equity markets. Tokenized stocks offer a way to trade shares of major companies directly from a crypto wallet, bypassing traditional brokerage accounts.
