Binance's Record Bitcoin Reserves Spark Sell-Side Pressure Concerns
Binance's Bitcoin reserves have surged to over 693,000 BTC, marking the highest level in two years. This represents about 30% of all major exchange reserves and is roughly 77,000 BTC more than in April.
This significant increase raises concerns about potential sell-side pressure as Bitcoin faces a strong resistance zone between $83,000 and $85,000. Long-term holders may be inclined to sell at this level, which could lead to increased liquidity in the market.
Bitcoin must hold above $75,000 or break through $85,000 to demonstrate that demand can absorb this added supply. If not, it could indicate more coins becoming available for sale, but actual selling depends on market absorption of this supply.
