Binance's Tokenized Equities Product Sees Explosive Growth During Off-Hours
Binance's tokenized equities product, bStocks, has seen significant growth since its launch on June 11. In July alone, it recorded approximately $14.7 billion in trading volume, with assets under management (AUM) surpassing $500 million by late July.
The majority of this trading activity occurred during US market closures, with a staggering 62% of bStocks volume happening while the New York Stock Exchange was dark. This suggests that demand for after-hours equity exposure is not a niche curiosity, but rather the majority use case.
The tokenized version of the Nasdaq-100 ETF, QQQB, regularly accounts for over 90% of all bStocks activity. Binance's 24/7 infrastructure has captured meaningful volume during every hour that traditional exchanges leave on the table.
