Binance's Tokenized Stocks Boom Signals Crypto as Gateway to Wall Street
Binance's tokenized stocks platform, bStocks, has reached $500 million in assets under management just seven weeks after its launch on June 11. This milestone highlights how blockchain technology is rapidly changing the way younger generations invest in global equities.
The platform now offers over 46 listings covering some of the world's biggest companies and exchange-traded funds (ETFs), allowing investors to buy and sell tokenized versions of companies like Apple, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, PayPal, and Dell Technologies at any time. Unlike traditional stock markets that operate only during fixed trading hours, bStocks is available 24/7.
Data from Binance shows that Generation Z accounts for 44% of all trading activity on bStocks, making them the largest user group. Furthermore, 41.5% of bStocks users are buying traditional financial assets for the first time through tokenized stocks instead of conventional brokerage platforms.
