Binance's XRP Reserves Plunge to Multi-Year Lows
Binance's XRP reserves have hit their lowest monthly average since February 2024, falling by approximately 500 million tokens over the past ten months. This decline occurred despite a 63% drawdown from its peak in 2025.
On-chain data shows that Binance's XRP reserves dropped to around 2.6 billion tokens by early September 2026, down from 3.1 billion in November 2025. The smoothed 30-day moving average used in the analysis reveals a persistent downward trend rather than isolated balance fluctuations.
Darkfost, a CryptoQuant analyst, noted that Binance's XRP reserves have historically risen during price rebounds and fallen during corrections. In this case, balances kept declining even as XRP gained nearly 30% in a month.
