BIS Tests XRP Ledger for Official Statistic Verification
The Bank for International Settlements (BIS) has begun testing XRP Ledger to verify official statistics. This is not related to payment services but rather to ensure that published data remains unaltered.
The system combines data summaries and anchors them to the XRP Ledger's underlying chain with a root value of $XRP.
BIS researchers will continue conducting these tests, with the expectation of an imminent final decision.
