Bit Digital Stock Surges on Strong Cloud Revenue
Bit Digital Inc., the parent company of Bit Digital stock, has seen its shares rise by 14.04% following the release of its Q2 earnings report. The company's revenue exceeded expectations, reaching $32.1 million, a significant increase from last year's loss of $22.61 million.
The key driver behind this growth is the company's pivot to cloud and colocation services, which accounted for much of its Q2 2026 revenue. This shift has been facilitated by the signing of over $540 million in multi-year contracts with WhiteFiber, a cloud infrastructure provider.
Bit Digital's decision to use treasury-backed ETH financing to build out its NC-1 data center has also received attention. This move allows the company to fund its expansion without issuing new equity or selling its Ethereum holdings, reducing potential dilution and supply-demand imbalances in the market.
