Bit2Me Formalizes Forensic Unit for Law Enforcement, Sees B2B Revenue Surge

Bit2Me, Spain's largest cryptocurrency exchange, has formalized its law enforcement work into a dedicated forensic unit. This unit will handle forensic tracing, seizure support, and court-ready reporting for Interpol, Europol, and Spanish national police. The move comes after Bit2Me processed approximately 1.5 million euros in seized digital assets on behalf of these agencies during 2025.

The exchange has seen significant growth in its B2B revenue, which now accounts for 27% of its total revenue. This shift towards institutional and government services extends beyond law enforcement work, with Bit2Me expanding into infrastructure used by traditional banks.

Bit2Me secured a MiCA Crypto-Asset Service Provider license after investing roughly 2.5 million euros and about 3,000 hours of work. This license allows the company to passport its services across the EU and expand into markets like Portugal.
