Bit2Me Launches Specialized Company to Aid Authorities in Crypto Cases
Bit2Me has created a specialized company called Bit2Shield to help courts, police, and financial institutions manage cryptocurrency-related cases. The new entity will focus on investigations, forensics, and training, while handling crypto-to-euro conversions through a separate authorized company.
Bit2Shield's work is built on procedures already applied in real investigations, including blockchain tracing and conversion of confiscated assets into euros. In 2025, Bit2Me processed €1.5 million in seized cryptocurrency for agencies like Interpol, Europol, and Spanish police using Chainalysis for tracing.
The company will extract wallet data, locate digital assets, and produce digitally signed forensic reports to aid in court proceedings. It will also arrange storage of seized crypto in cold wallets requiring multiple signatures and coordinate sales when authorities order liquidation.
