Bit2Me Secures MiCA License and Expands Into Regulated Crypto Infrastructure

Share

Bit2Me, Spain's largest cryptocurrency exchange, has found an unexpected growth market in helping law enforcement agencies track and seize digital assets. In 2025, the platform processed approximately 1.5 million euros in seized cryptocurrencies for Interpol, Europol, and Spanish police.

The cooperation between Bit2Me and law enforcement agencies has been formalized into a dedicated forensic unit, which will handle forensic tracing, seizure support, and court-ready reporting. This unit is powered by Chainalysis, a blockchain analytics firm that provides transaction monitoring and tracing tools.

Bit2Me's pivot towards institutional and government services appears to be paying off, with B2B revenue now accounting for 27% of the company's total revenue in 2025. The platform has also secured a MiCA Crypto-Asset Service Provider license from Spain's securities regulator, making it the first company in Spain to receive this authorization.
