Bitcoin $1 Million by 2030? Analyst Says the Math Doesn't Add Up
Markus Thielen, head of research at 10x Research, recently questioned the validity of Bitcoin reaching $1 million by 2030. Speaking on Cointelegraph's Trade Secrets, he argued that the capital required to push Bitcoin to this level is mathematically unrealistic.
Thielen estimated that Bitcoin would need approximately $15 trillion in additional capital to reach a price of $1 million per coin. This figure represents a scale far beyond the capital Bitcoin has historically attracted.
The analyst compared this requirement to roughly 25% of the total value of the US stock market flowing into Bitcoin over the next four years, making it 'mathematically impossible' to achieve within such a short timeframe.
