Bitcoin Adoption Trails Gold Due to Generational Divide, Says Tether CEO

Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino believes that Bitcoin's global adoption has not yet surpassed gold due to generational differences. According to him, most financial decision-makers are older and more familiar with gold.

Ardoino notes that Bitcoin is better understood by younger generations, but a broader acceptance will require a shift in demographics. He also highlights gold's role as a safe haven during times of economic uncertainty and the current volatility of Bitcoin, which prevents it from backing stablecoins.

Despite this, Ardoino remains optimistic about Bitcoin reaching $100,000 in the future.
