Bitcoin Aims for $500,000 by 2029: Can Strong Institutional Demand and ETF Adoption Make it Happen?
Bitcoin's price could potentially reach $500,000 by 2029 if several factors align in its favor. These include strong institutional demand, continued ETF adoption, clearer regulations, favorable financial conditions, and limited Bitcoin supply.
According to Prateek Gupta, Head of Business at Mudrex, reaching this target would require a combination of these factors working together.
Gupta noted that Bitcoin has delivered similar growth rates in the past, but those gains happened when its price was much lower. As the asset grows into a larger market, repeating such high growth becomes increasingly difficult.
The recent rally in Bitcoin's price is largely attributed to macroeconomic factors rather than crypto-market dynamics. The US Treasury's decision to at least double its purchases of longer-maturity government bonds has contributed to a weaker US dollar and increased concerns about the value of money.
