Bitcoin Analyst Sees Brief Window Below $60K: Will XRP Follow?
Levi Rietveld, an analyst, believes that Bitcoin's recurring market patterns could create another brief opportunity to buy below $60,000. According to historical data, bull and bear-market phases around halving cycles have shown unusually similar timing.
Rietveld points to a chart comparing past Bitcoin cycles, which shows bull-market periods lasting 8 months, 24 months, and then roughly 35 months, followed by bear markets of 5, 14, and 12 months. He emphasizes the repeated appearance of a 35-month expansion followed by a 12-month decline.
While XRP's history looks less uniform compared to Bitcoin's, Rietveld argues that a Bitcoin-led bear market would likely weigh on XRP and other altcoins like XLM if it materializes. He cautions that 'nothing is guaranteed in investing' and that changes in institutional participation, regulation, interest rates, and market structure could make the next cycle look different from the chart presented.
