Bitcoin Analysts' Floors Diverge in Uncertainty Over Price Floor
Bitcoin's price has dropped by over 30% in the past year, from $116,106 to its current value of $77,278. Analysts have published various levels for Bitcoin's floor, but they disagree on the exact figure.
Peter Brandt, Arthur Hayes, Citi, NYDIG, and a Delta Exchange analyst have all weighed in with their predictions. However, their estimates range from $38,000 to over $250,000, highlighting the uncertainty surrounding Bitcoin's price.
Bitcoin's nearest support runs between $76,500 and $77,000, but if this level breaks, the next downside zone could be between $72,000 and $74,000. A break below $58,562 would signal a change in market dynamics, while the realized price, at $53,600, is seen as a key level by many analysts.
Of note, Citi's bear scenario puts Bitcoin's floor at $53,000, which is close to the realized price. However, NYDIG has published an even deeper number of $38,000 to $39,000, citing a US recession and full ETF unwind as potential triggers for this level.
