Bitcoin and Ether ETFs See Largest Inflows Since Early May
The US spot Bitcoin ETFs took in $517 million on August 19, their largest daily inflow since early May. This influx is significant because it marks a return to form for these funds after a six-week high outflow week.
Ether ETFs also saw a surge in investment, pulling in $189 million, their biggest intake since October 2025. The increase in demand for both Bitcoin and Ether ETFs came on the same day that Bitcoin's price moved above $69,000 and Ether around $2,250.
The largest contributors to this inflow were BlackRock's IBIT, ARKB, Fidelity's FBTC, Bitwise's BITB, and Grayscale's GBTC for Bitcoin ETFs. For Ether ETFs, it was primarily BlackRock's ETHA that drove the investment.
While this influx is a positive sign, experts caution against reading too much into it just yet. They note that a third-day inflow streak does not necessarily indicate a completed rotation in the market.
