Bitcoin and Ethereum ETF Inflows Surge, But Ethereum Faces Technical Resistance
U.S. Bitcoin and Ethereum spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) saw $1.1 billion in net inflows last week, but this was heavily concentrated on a single day.
Roughly 80% of total inflows went into ETFs on September 3, making it the largest single-day combined net inflow for Bitcoin and Ethereum spot ETFs since January 14.
Bitcoin dominated the flow, with $863.2 million coming in on that day, while Ethereum's share of total ETF net inflows fell from 45% to 11.9%. The slowdown in Ethereum ETF inflows is notable, as it saw its largest single-day net inflow in September reach just $59,300.
Despite the decline in ETF inflows, prices rose: Bitcoin gained 2.77%, and Ethereum climbed 2.60% during the period.
