Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs Attract Record $3.2 Billion in Weekly Inflows
Crypto funds have seen significant inflows in recent weeks, with $3.2 billion pouring into cryptocurrency investment products as of late August. This is the largest single-week haul since October 2025 and marks a dramatic turn from the $392 million in net outflows registered the prior week.
The reversal was driven primarily by spot Bitcoin and Ethereum exchange-traded funds, which captured 81% of all crypto fund inflows during the period. Spot Bitcoin ETFs pulled in $1.9 billion, while spot Ethereum ETFs added $697 million.
This influx arrives against a mixed macroeconomic backdrop, with interest rate expectations and regulatory developments remaining key swing factors for risk appetite. The concentration of capital in Bitcoin and Ethereum products continues to hold steady, following over a year of sustained institutional demand despite elevated market volatility.
