Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs Draw Record Inflows Amid Crypto Rally
Bitcoin and Ethereum exchange-traded funds (ETFs) drew record inflows last week as cryptocurrency prices surged to new highs. According to SoSoValue data, Bitcoin ETFs attracted $1.918 billion in five trading sessions through August 21, while Ethereum funds pulled in $697.2 million.
The combined $2.6 billion intake was the strongest for the two groups in about 10 months and marked their biggest week of 2026 so far. Bitcoin ETFs have now recorded cumulative net subscriptions since their January 2024 debut of $53.7 billion, with the weekly total being their largest since the market selloff in October 2025.
Ethereum funds also had their best showing since October, when they attracted nearly $1.3 billion during the week ended October 3. The renewed demand coincided with a sharp crypto rally, with Bitcoin climbing from around $62,300 to briefly trade near $80,000 on Friday, and Ethereum surging to a seven-month high above $2,500.
