Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs Record Eighth Consecutive Day of Net Inflows
Spot Bitcoin and Ethereum exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in the US have seen an unprecedented eight-day streak of net capital inflows, according to SoSoValue data.
The total net inflow for spot Bitcoin ETFs stands at $232 million, with BlackRock's IBIT fund recording the highest daily capital inflow among Bitcoin ETFs at $201 million. This brings IBIT's historical total net inflows to $63.121 billion.
Grayscale's Bitcoin Mini Trust ETF, BTC, came in second with an inflow of $46.83 million, pushing its cumulative net inflow to $2.846 billion. However, Grayscale experienced a net outflow of $50.39 million from its GBTC fund, which has seen total net outflows reach $27.578 billion since inception.
The total net asset value of spot Bitcoin ETFs currently stands at $98.629 billion, accounting for 6.26% of the total Bitcoin market capitalization. Historical cumulative net inflows to these funds have reached $54.590 billion.
A similar picture emerged in Ethereum ETFs, with spot Ethereum ETFs seeing a net inflow of $192 million on August 26th, marking the eighth consecutive day of uninterrupted inflows.
BlackRock's ETHA product recorded the highest daily inflow into Ethereum funds at $116 million, bringing its historical total net inflow to $12.523 billion. Grayscale's Ethereum Mini Trust ETF also saw an inflow of $34.67 million, pushing its cumulative net inflow to $1.897 billion.
The total net asset value of spot Ethereum ETFs currently stands at $15.127 billion, representing 5.07% of the total Ethereum market capitalization. Cumulative net inflows to these funds have reached $12.638 billion.
