Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs See Fresh Demand Amid Institutional Buying Pressure
US spot crypto ETFs saw fresh demand on August 4, with Bitcoin and Ethereum products experiencing net inflows. Bitcoin funds attracted $211.49 million, while Ethereum ETFs added $53.75 million.
The influx of capital for Bitcoin ETFs reversed the $265.37 million outflow recorded on July 31, marking a return of capital after a single withdrawal period. BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust led the group with $111.4 million in inflows.
Ethereum spot ETFs also saw renewed demand, recording $53.75 million in net inflows and reversing the $11.42 million outflow reported on August 3. Cumulative net inflows across US Ethereum spot ETFs reached $11.25 billion.
Bitcoin's move above $64,000 triggered $27.36 million in short liquidations during the reported 24-hour period, adding momentum to its recovery. However, Bitcoin faces resistance near $64,300 and will need a confirmed four-hour close above that level to open a path toward $64,757 and $65,500.
