Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs Soar as Inflows Exceed $492 Million
The latest flow data from Farside Investors indicates that US spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs experienced significant net inflows on August 21, adding a combined $492 million to their assets. This marks the fifth consecutive positive trading day for both groups.
BlackRock's IBIT led the way in the spot Bitcoin ETF market with a $239.3 million influx of capital, while its ETHA product brought in $151 million in the Ethereum sector. These figures contribute to an ongoing trend where traditional-market investors are increasingly turning to familiar brokerage channels for crypto exposure.
The sustained inflows have sparked concern about whether they can continue amid anticipated price volatility. However, the current streak suggests a strong demand backdrop for both Bitcoin and Ethereum, with weekly inflows reaching $1.92 billion for Bitcoin ETFs and $697 million for Ethereum ETFs.
