Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs Suffer Simultaneous Net Outflows
U.S. spot Bitcoin and Ethereum exchange-traded funds (ETFs) experienced significant net outflows on July 24, with $240 million in withdrawals from Bitcoin ETFs and $70.62 million from Ethereum's.
The combined total of over $310 million in withdrawals marks a pause in the improving trend for U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs, which had benefited from renewed institutional buying earlier in the week.
Despite this setback, analysts note that recent inflows had improved sentiment, but cautioned that both Bitcoin and Ethereum's fundamentals remain sensitive to macroeconomic developments and upcoming Federal Reserve policy decisions.
The latest outflows do not necessarily indicate a lasting shift in investor sentiment, but ETF flows remain one of the market's most closely watched indicators due to their insight into institutional appetite for digital assets.
