Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs Surge $23 Billion in One Week

The U.S. spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs experienced a significant surge in net inflows last week, adding $2.6 billion to their total assets under management. This marks the best week for both fund categories since October 2025.

BTC and ETH gained substantial value, with Bitcoin rising by about 24% and Ethereum increasing by around 30%. The price appreciation was largely driven by the U.S. Treasury's decision to double its long-bond buyback program, which weakened the dollar and pushed investors towards assets like BTC as inflation hedges.

The short squeeze that wiped out billions in bearish bets also played a significant role in pushing prices higher. BlackRock's IBIT captured the largest share of new money, taking in 83 cents of every dollar that flowed into Bitcoin funds on one day. XRP funds also drew fresh demand, setting a record weekly volume.
