Bitcoin and Ethereum Long Positions Surge Amid Market Volatility
Top futures traders have significantly increased their long positions in Bitcoin and Ethereum, indicating a rising appetite for leverage and potential market volatility.
Data from Pluang shows that Bitcoin longs rose to 61.72% by position share, while Ethereum's long positions reached 58.16%. In USD-margined markets, the increase was even more pronounced, suggesting traders are betting on price gains but also raises the risk of sharp market moves and liquidations.
This trend is particularly notable in account-based long exposure, which saw a substantial increase. Meanwhile, Dogecoin saw a slight decrease in long positions, highlighting varied sentiment across tokens.
