Bitcoin and Gold Slump on Inflation Concerns and Rejection of Higher Prices
Investors are reevaluating their positions in Bitcoin and Gold as both assets decline following recent price gains. The correction comes ahead of the Jackson Hole Economic Policy Symposium, where Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh spoke about inflation concerns.
Warsh cautioned that if price pressure does not ease, stricter monetary policy could be implemented, including raising interest rates. He expressed confidence in the economy but emphasized the need for underlying inflation to improve 'clearly and at sufficient speed.'
Bitcoin (BTC) has retreated below $80,000 after a second rejection from the $81,000-$82,000 supply range. The Crypto King remains in a bullish phase above key Exponential Moving Averages, but momentum is weakening.
