Bitcoin at Crucial $80K Level: Buyers vs Sellers in September Showdown
Bitcoin's recent price action has brought it to a critical juncture around $80,000. After briefly breaking above this level and reaching $82,000 last week, the cryptocurrency fell back below $78,500 on September 8.
This makes $80,000 less of a firm support level and more of a battleground between buyers trying to extend the rally and sellers betting that September's traditional weakness is returning.
The next few sessions could decide which side wins. Strong ETF demand and relatively restrained leverage are supporting the bullish case, but inflation data and the Federal Reserve could easily turn the Bitcoin critical level into resistance.
