Bitcoin Bear Cycle Officially Over as Bullish Sentiment Takes Hold
The Bitcoin bear cycle may be over, according to Ki Yung Ju, founder of CryptoQuant. The on-chain analytics platform has observed a shift in market conditions, signaling a potential new bull market for Bitcoin.
Ju pointed out that the Bitcoin bull-bear market cycle indicator showed a bullish trend starting from August 25th, indicating an end to the bear cycle. Additionally, other valuation indicators have shifted higher, with CryptoQuant's Bull Score rising from 30 to 80 within a week. This reading is its most bullish since early October 2025.
The rise in valuation and demand metrics suggests that the market may be experiencing a regime change. However, near-term risks still remain as traders' unrealized profit margins have climbed to 20.5%, and large holders realized a record $614 million in profits on August 20.
