Bitcoin Blazes Past $75,000 as Market Sentiment Shifts
Bitcoin has broken above $75,000, pushing past its previous high since late May. The cryptocurrency's price has surged by roughly 20% over four days, marking a significant rebound from below $60,000.
The rapid gain has led to a change in market sentiment, with the Bitcoin Fear and Greed Index now in the greed zone at 72. This shift is attributed to Bitcoin's strongest short squeezes of the year, resulting in more than $3 billion in bearish positions being liquidated during the initial breakout.
While some caution has been expressed regarding potential bull traps, prominent trader DonAlt believes that this recent low could be the bottom of the current cycle. He points to Bitcoin's reaction from major support as a positive sign, noting that $82,000 and $95,000 represent the first significant resistance levels.
