Bitcoin Bottom May Be In, Analyst Predicts Financial Repression Boost
Renowned macro analyst Lyn Alden believes that Bitcoin's bottom is in and the bull market has resumed. In an interview with CNBC, she stated that 'the fast money is out,' Strategy (MSTR) will not be selling, and there are limited downside catalysts left.
Alden also predicted that the Treasury and Fed will move towards financial repression, a development she views as bullish for Bitcoin.
Real Vision analyst Jamie Coutts analyzed the volatility data and found that this week's two-day Bitcoin move ranks as the fifth-largest since 2018 on a volatility-adjusted basis at 4.4 sigma, exceeding the threshold for counter-trend rallies.
Coutts also observed that after moves of this size, Bitcoin has historically finished higher more than 70% of the time over the following 30 to 180 days.
