Bitcoin Bottom Predicted for Early October, But Analysts Differ on Price Targets
Crypto analysts believe that Bitcoin's (BTC) bottom in this cycle may not be here yet, but it's close. A group of experts, including Ali Martinez and Rekt Fencer, predict that the long-awaited bear market low will occur in early October, with a potential macro bottom between October 4 and 16.
Historical data suggests that Bitcoin has bottomed out around $364 after bull market tops on multiple occasions. While this doesn't guarantee a repeat performance, analysts are cautiously optimistic about the upcoming period. Martinez recommends preparing for a long-term dollar-cost-averaging strategy and accumulating more BTC within a price range of $62,000 to $48,000.
However, not all experts agree on the timing or price targets. Merlijn The Trader suggests that the bottom might be closer than expected, and a monthly close below $58,000 would invalidate his pattern. Meanwhile, the BTC open interest has surged to a 3-year high, hinting at increased volatility in the near future.
Ted Pillows warns that such high leverage often ends with significant losses, recalling the October 2025 massacre when investors lost over $19 billion as prices plummeted.
