Bitcoin Bottom Signal: Long-Term Holders Capitulating Amid Market Indifference

A rare on-chain signal has emerged in the cryptocurrency market that may indicate the end of Bitcoin's prolonged decline and a global trend reversal. According to 'Crypto Dan' from analytics platform CryptoQuant, even large investors who have traditionally held onto their coins are now selling at a loss en masse.

The key indicator here is the SOPR Ratio, which measures the profitability of long-term holders relative to short-term holders. The ratio has fallen below 1.0, signaling that 'old money' is realizing deeper losses than recent buyers.

CryptoQuant analysts emphasize that periods in which even mid- to long-term investors keep selling at a loss have historically been excellent entry points for investors. They note that the current situation is unique because large investors are capitulating just as market participants' interest hits rock bottom.
