Bitcoin Bounces Ahead of Fed Decision Amid 35% Rate Hike Odds
Bitcoin rebounded to around $64,400 on Wednesday morning, up about 1.6% from the previous day's close, as traders prepared for the Federal Reserve's afternoon rate decision.
The Fed is expected to hold its benchmark rate between 3.50% and 3.75%, but there's a 35% chance of another increase, according to futures markets.
Despite the rebound, bitcoin remains about 45% to 49% below its October 2025 record high of around $126,000.
