Bitcoin Bounces Back Above $79k Amid Renewed ETP Interest
Bitcoin bounced back to above $79,000 on Wednesday after a brief dip below that level on Tuesday. The cryptocurrency market is still highly sensitive to global financial developments and the escalating Middle East conflict.
The rebound in Bitcoin was supported by renewed interest in crypto exchange-traded products (ETPs), including the recently launched Zcash ETF. Investors have been showing increased appetite for ETPs, with US-listed spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs recording substantial inflows in recent weeks.
One of the key factors supporting the recovery is the strong performance of the Zcash cryptocurrency. Its price has surged above $1,000 amid growing demand and inflows into Grayscale's Zcash ETF.
However, despite the rebound, Bitcoin remains under pressure from rising oil prices and inflation fears. The Federal Reserve's interest-rate decisions are also being closely watched, with markets pricing in the possibility of higher rates or a rate hike at its upcoming meeting.
