Bitcoin Bounces Off Support Amid Soaring US Bond Yields
Bitcoin traded around $78,000 at the open of Wall Street on Monday as US bond yields pushed back toward multi-year highs. The move tied back to fresh comments from US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, who signaled the Treasury was considering further action at the long end of the curve.
The 10-year yield was back near its highest levels since January 2025, reaching 4.76%, while the 30-year yield approached levels not seen since January 2007.
Despite holding support near $77,269, traders flagged an emerging bearish divergence on the daily RSI ahead of the August monthly close.
