Bitcoin Breakout Imminent as Asset Clears Oversold Threshold
Fairlead Strategies' managing partner Katie Stockton says Bitcoin is no longer oversold after clearing its 200-day moving average in May, potentially setting up a breakout.
The asset has rallied over 22% in seven days to about $78,915 and topped $81,000 on Monday following the U.S. Treasury's expanded liquidity buybacks.
This comes as U.S. Bitcoin ETFs saw nearly $2 billion in inflows, their best week since October, and a delayed Clarity Act vote in September could provide regulatory clarity and support broader crypto adoption and institutional flows.
